克柏林與現代精神醫學
摘要
本文主述精神分裂病觀念之貢獻者，德國精神學家Emil Kraepelin之事蹟與科學貢獻，然後探討其社會及政治背景與其學術作品的關系，以及他的觀點對現代精神醫學之意涵。

A brief account is given of the career and scientific contributions of the German psychiatrist, Emil Kraepelin, to whom the concept of schizophrenia is generally attributed. Attention is also drawn to his social and political outlook and its relationship to his work. The implications for contemporary psychiatry are outlined.
