台灣產後憂鬱婦女心理社會經驗之現象學研究初探

摘要

本現象學研究的目的在於描述台灣婦女產後憂鬱生活經驗的基本結構。和六位符合收案標準的母親做深度訪談以獲取他們的主觀經驗，所有訪談內容先予以錄音，於訪談結束後逐字轉譯成文字記錄。所有文字記錄根據Colaizzi的六個步驟進行資料的分析。研究結果發現台灣婦女產後憂鬱的心理社會經驗結構包括三個類別10個主題。第一個類別是尋不到平衡點的角色扮演，包含主題1：夫妻關係的罅隙，主題2：媳婦角色的陰鬱，主題3:母職的不勝負荷，主題4：女性定位的困境。第二個類別是時空的糾葛，包括主題5：文化的百鎖，主題6：理想的幻滅，主題7：自身家庭史的重解。第三個類別是不安寧的自我，包括主題8：精神失能，主題9：自我不滿意識，主題10：傷害意念或行為。總之，產後憂鬱生活經驗的本質是囿困於傳統女性角色，且在資源缺乏或不受肯定的環境下，失去生命的動力，思想和生活均極端辛苦，整日覺得疲倦無力無法正常睡眠和飲食，逐見產生自我不滿意識，進而有傷害自己或傷害孩子的想法或企圖行為。

To understand how Taiwanese women experience postpartum depression, a phenomenological study was conducted. A purposive sample of six mothers participated in the present study. All the subjects’ interviews were tape recorded and then transcribed. The transcription of each subject’s oral description of postpartum depression experience was analyzed using Colaizzi’s paenomenological methodology. Three categories, with ten themes, were derived from the analysis. The first category is unbalanced role-enacting. It includes these four themes: (1) the discrepancies in the husband-wife relationship; (2) the shadowy position of a daughter-in-law; (3) the incompetence as a mother; and (4) the dilemma of a woman’s identity. The second category is fragmented time –space representation. The themes included are: (5) cultural bondage; (6) loss of ideals’ and (7) reinterpretation of family history. The third category is the uneasy self. It contains the themes of : (8) psychological disability;(9) sense of self-dissatisfaction; and (10) the notion or behavior of destruction.
