The Pomacea canaliculata was introduced into Taiwan in 1979. Because the limitation of edible part that was abandoned raising by aquaculture leading to spreads to many regions in the inland. The situation caused serious agricultural losses and the ecological environment impact. This plan used the soil column and the sand-box experiments to observe the active tendency and the hydrotaxis of Pomacea canaliculata in water. In addition, this study used the block way in field to investigate the impediment efficiency of Pomacea canaliculata entering field and observed the pass way of their entering paddy field. The results showed that Pomacea canaliculata was not suitable living in the deep water with long time and their favorable seating place was living in the slow flowing zone, such as the water intake of a boundary ridge and the water surface. Moreover, the Pomacea canaliculata has poor hydrotaxis ability; therefore, using natural environment around the field to isolate them and in the entering and drainage port can not having gaps that should be effectively ways to prevent the Pomacea canaliculata entering the field area.
