Reliability Life Estimation of Products Using Accelerated life-testing

使用加速壽命試驗進行產品可靠度壽命估計

摘要


為迅速驗證產品設計缺失、預估未來使用壽命,可進行加速壽命試驗;加速壽命試驗以加速的方式來分,可分為頻率加速與應力加速兩種,本文針對後者建構加速試驗模型,以恆定應力加速數據進行可靠度分析,利用一個log-線性加速模型來描述產品壽命和其應力關係,結合排列統計(Order statistics)與最佳線性無偏估計(BLUE)理論,分析右截尾加速試驗數據特性,估算在不同應力下之壽命特徵(平均值與變異),再由最佳化方法(Lagrange Multiplier)找出產品最適合的壽命變異,利用高斯馬可夫理論(Gauss-Markov theorem)估算加速模型未知系數;整合估算結果(壽命變異與加速系數),進一步推估產品合理的可靠度參數,以為預估產品在正常應力下壽命和可靠度之依據。

In order to identify design weaknesses and improve reliability for a product as soon as possible, accelerated life-testing is extensively used. Accelerated life-testing (ALT) is either to accelerate the number of cycle per unit time (frequency acceleration) or to increase the stress-levels when operating (stress acceleration). In this paper, Constant-stress accelerated life-testing is used construct the accelerated function. Singly right censoring is considered to form the failure distributions at various stress levels. The characteristic parameters (location and scale) for each distribution are estimated by incorporating the methods of best linear unbiased estimators with the theory of order statistics. The scale parameter being minimum variance is derived out using the technique of Lagrange Multiplier. A log-linear life-stress relationship is suggested to formulate the accelerated equation. The unknown coefficients the accelerated equation are obtained using Gauss-Markov theorem. Once the scale parameter and the unknown coefficients determined, the life normal operating condition and the related reliability measures could then be evaluated. Typically, several cases involving various failure distributions are used as examples to depict the estimated procedures ALT.
