Nonlinear Dynamic Response of Couple Stress Fluid Film Bearing System with Nonlinear Suspension and Roughness Effect

偶應力流體潤滑之轉子-軸承系統在非線性支撐與粗糙度效應下之非線性動態響應分析

摘要


本文旨在藉由數值分析方法研究由非牛頓流體-偶應力流體潤滑之轉子-軸承系統在同時考慮非線性支撐與粗糙度效應時之非線性動態響應行為探討。並且同時分析轉子幾何中心及軸承幾何中心之動態軌跡。藉由分析動態軌跡、龐卡萊映射圖、分岔圖及最大李雅普諾夫指數可觀查出系統進入週期運動、倍週期運動、準週期運動或混沌運動。結果亦顯示偶應力流體並不能有效改善同時考慮非線性支撐與粗糙度效應之強非線性轉子-軸承系統。本研究希望藉此提供研究旋轉機械在高速運轉及非牛頓流體潤滑時,不論是設計、應用或高度非線性領域研究方面皆能有所幫助。

This paper presents a numerical research to investigate the dynamic orbits of a rotor supported by two couple stress fluid film journal bearings considering longitudinal and transverse roughness effect under nonlinear suspension. The dynamic response of the rotor center and bearing center are studied. Including the dynamic trajectories of the rotor center and bearing center, Poincaré maps, bifurcation diagrams and the maximum Lyapunov exponent analysis are applied in this research. The results show that couple stress fluid cannot effectively improve the whole nonlinear dynamic system considering with roughness parameter. It also shows that the difference of the dynamic orbits between considering transverse and longitudinal roughness is not very clear. The modeling results provide some useful insights into the design and development of rotor-bearing system for rotating machinery that operate in highly rotational speed, non-Newtonian fluid lubrication and highly nonlinear regimes.
