Study of High Efficient Y-Shape Air Pipe Filter by Experiment and Numerical Simulation

試驗及數值模擬方法在高性能Y型空氣過濾器研究中的應用

摘要


這篇論文主要針對金屬絲網濾清器代替塑料化纖等材料絲網的效率及經濟性進行研究。本文采用數值模擬的方法模擬環形絲網,並利用贰維簡化模型獲得其阻力特性。采用多空介質代替過濾器的方法進行了阻力特性仿真,並與實驗結果進行對比。通過對比仿真與實驗得到的壓降結果發現,在數值模擬時采用多空介質代替金屬絲網的方法是可行的。並且通過鹽霧分離實驗發現金屬絲網具有更好的分離效率,其效率高達99.7%。

This article is a research of high efficient and economical Y-shape air pipe filter with a wire mesh filter element instead of filter element made of resin, chemical fiber or other materials. A computational method for ring shape metal wire mesh filter element is proposed and two dimensional simplified model is use to obtain its resistant characteristic. With the porous media replacement of filter element, a simulation for a gas through Y shape air pipe filter of different velocities is performed and it's evaluated by a comparison with resistant characteristic experiment. The pressure drop comparison between simulation and experiment demonstrates that porous media replaced of wire mesh element filter in numerical computation is a feasible way. In the last place, salt separation experiment is carried out and the filter is tested that it have a preferably separation efficiency up to 99.7%.
