Nursing care not only meets clients' physical, psychlogical and sociological needs, but also tulfills clients' spiritual needs. The spirit supports clients as they identify and explore what is meaningful in their lives. This paper looks at spiritual care and human caring in three parts. First, the meanings of spirituality in nursing care are identified. Second, the theories of Neuman and Watson that emphasized the importance of spirituality nursing are introduced. Then we suggest the intervention of spiritual care. Lastly, there is an analysis of a client-nurse student interaction by Watson human caring.
