The purpose of this study is to evaluate the impact of physical, psychological, family and social factors on sexual impairment caused by spinal nerve dysfunction in female patients with spinal cord injury. This study can (1) eliminate the stereotyped impression that women with physical deformities can’t be fulfilled sexually, (2) provide solutions for nursing faculty concerning care and management of physiological limitation, change in sexual activity, psychological impact, menstruation, pregnancy and fertility, and (3) utilize sexual counseling groups to help patients deal with periods of sadness and sexual adjustment.
