Clinically, the most common type of arrhythmia is atrial fibrillation resulting in tachycardia, arrhythmia, congestive heart failure and systemic embolization. Besides, many studies have revealed that the incidence rate and mortality rate of atrial fibrillation increased by ages. In terms of improvement of technology, the treatment of atrial fibrillation varies with different disease courses and age. The treatment is devided into pharmaceutical and non-pharmaceutical treatments. The radiofrequency ablation has recently applied to atrial fibrillation. In the following context, we introduce the pre-ablation and post-ablation nursing cares as well as the instruction after discharge. We hope this care experience can provide more information for nursing applications and it can improve the care quality for patients treated with radiofrequency ablation.
