住院病人對好護理師專業能力期待及影響因素之探討

摘要

本研究目的在探討住院病人對好護理師護理專業能力的期待及影響因素。為描述性研究設計，採橫斷式調查法，研究對象為中部地區某醫學中心內、外及婦產科住院二天以上、滿18歲意識清楚之病人。研究方法為隨機抽取每單位20—25位病人共250位，進行對好護理師專業能力期待的結構式問卷調查，回收有效問卷211份（84.4%）。結果發現住院病人期待好護理師專業能力的前三項為知識技能（4.63±0.38），批判思考（4.51±0.46）及倫理素養（4.46±0.50）。對好護理師專業能力期待之重要影響因素有性別、宗教信仰、職業、年齡及住院次數。本研究結果期作為改善護理養成教育及在職教育參考，以改善護理人員專業處理能力及效率，使住院病人由護理照護中受益，進而提昇社會大眾對護理專業形象觀感。

This research purpose was to explore patients' expectations of ”good nurse” competence and influence factors. This was a descriptive and cross-sectional research. The research subjects were the clients from the medical, surgical, obstetrics and gynecology wards in a medical center of central Taiwan. The inclusion criteria comprised of patients who were hospitalized for more than two days, aged over 18 years, and alert. 20-25 clients per ward were randomly sampled, and the total subjects were 250. 211 subjects answered the structural questionnaire, and the response rate was 84.4%. The research results showed that most of the subjects were expecting ”good nurse” professional competence to possess professional knowledge and skill (4.63±0.38), the next in sequence should have being critical thinking (4.51±0.46), and ethics accomplishment (4.46±0.50). The influencing factors of ”good nurse” professional competence expectation were gender, religious belief, job, age and experiences in the hospital. The findings of this study may contribute to the reference in improving nursing education and practice, and help future nursing professionals. In addition, patients may benefit from nursing care, and subsequently, enhance the image of nursing.
