探討病人使用硝酸甘油舌下含片現況與用藥知識

硝酸甘油（Nitroglycerin, NTG）舌下含片是冠狀動脈心臟疾病病人（冠心症）心臟病突發時的首選用藥。病人對於藥物的知識會影響其服藥行為進而影響用藥之療效。國內目前欠缺對病人NTG舌下含片使用現況與用藥知識之瞭解，故本研究的主要目的即在探討冠心症病人NTG舌下含片的使用現況與用藥知識。本研究為描述性相關性研究，以立意取樣，共有85位南部某教學醫院接受NTG舌下含片處方的心血管疾病門診病人參與研究，採用結構式問卷，以一對一訪談方式收集資料。研究結果顯示有42.5%的病人會在非胸部悶痛的情況下使用NTG舌下含片。NTG舌下含片用藥知識答對率未達50%的題目包括:「藥物使用期限」（35.3%）、「藥物使用的正確數量」（32.9%）、「藥物常見的副作用」（17.6%）、及「預防性服藥的時機」（8.2%）等。此研究結果顯示NTG舌下含片服用知識方面之衛教，實有持續檢討與加強改進之處。

Nitroglycerin (NTG) sublingual tablets are the first aid in patients with heart attack. Patients' NTG knowledge and its proper use may influence the effectiveness of the medication. In Taiwan, there is currently a lack of study investigating the usage and knowledge of NTG sublingual tablets among patients. The aim of this study was to explore the usage and knowledge of NTG sublingual tablets among coronary artery disease patients. This was a descriptive correlational study. Purposive sampling was used to recruit subjects from cardiovascular disease outpatient clinic in one of the teaching hospitals at southern Taiwan. A total of 85 subjects who were prescribed with NTG sublingual tablets were invited and face-to-face interview was conducted to collect data. The results showed that 42.5% of the subjects reported taking NTG for symptoms other than chest pain. Less than 50% of subjects answered the following questions correctly: ”Identify the drug's expiration date” (35.3%), ”the maximum number of tablets one can take” (32.9%), ”common side effects of the drug” (17.6%), and ”usage of the drug for preventive purpose” (8.2%). The findings of this study further indicated the need to improve medication education among coronary artery disease patients using NTG sublingual tablets.
