運用多元教材提升護理人員對腰椎手術病人護理指導完整性之成效

Using Multiple Teaching Materials Across Units Improves Nursing Education for Patients Undergoing Lumbar Surgery

摘要


本專案旨在改善腰椎手術病人護理指導完整率。本醫學中心有三個神經外科病房,護理人員依據專科所制訂的腰椎手術照護流程給予病人手術前後衛教,但專案執行前,腰椎手術護理指導的完整率僅為70%,分析原因為:缺乏標準的護理指導程序、指導單張皆文字且無重點提示、缺乏稽核制度、衛教光碟內容過長等。經由問卷調查、矩陣分析、文獻查證後,採取改善專案之內容包括「腰椎手術病人護理指導」執行流程之標準化、圖像式衛教本之製作、原衛教光碟內容之簡化與優化等。專案執行後,腰椎手術護理指導完整率提升至99%,成功達成專案目的並改善照護品質。

This study aimed to improve nursing education in the field of lumbar surgery. Our medical center contains three neurosurgery wards, where the nursing staff provides pre- or post-surgical education for the care of patients undergoing lumbar surgery, based on the guidelines developed by the nursing department. However, the implementation rate of the guidelines was 70% because of a lack of standard nursing guidelines, of an undetailed and unfocused guidance sheet, of the lack of an audit system, the contents of the teaching CD were extensive. After conducting the questionnaire-based survey, matrix analysis, and literature verification, the contents of the improvement project included standardizing the guidelines for the care of patients undergoing lumbar surgery, developing image-based guardianship, and simplifying and optimizing the contents of the guardianship CD. After the implementation of the project, lumbar surgery care guidance integrity rate increased to 99%, the project successfully achieved its objectives, and the quality of care was improved.
