提升新進及輪調護理師執行母乳哺餵護理指導完整率改善專案

Improving the Completion Rate of Breastfeeding Training Among New and Rotational Nurses

摘要


本單位新進及輪調護理師因無哺乳經驗,又缺乏完整的母乳哺餵相關訓練課程,造成其執行母乳哺餵護理指導完整率僅48.9%。為了提升新進及輪調護理師執行母乳哺餵護理指導完整率,專案小組於2018年9月1日至2019年12月31日經由製作「母乳哺餵護理指導教學影片」、「母乳哺餵護理指導便利書」,再輔以「母乳哺餵小學堂課程」、「母乳哺餵模擬演練工作坊」及「母乳哺餵反思討論會」等多元策略循序執行後,在執行改善專案後,執行母乳哺餵護理指導完整率由48.9%進步至76.5%,認知程度由87.7分增加至91.4分。由上述結果顯示,經由多元策略,能夠有效提升護理人員的護理指導認知程度及完整率。

The completion rate for breastfeeding training among new and rotational nurses in the nursery and intermediate care nursery of medical center in Taipei is only 48.9%. This low rate is due to their lack of breastfeeding experience and the fact that the training cannot be completed in a short time. In this study, we aimed to improve the awareness and integrity of breastfeeding nursing guidance provided to new and rotational nurses by using multiple teaching strategies. The study was conducted from September 2018 to December 2019, during which we produced breastfeeding training videos and handbooks and held educational programs, including classroom teaching, breastfeeding practice workshops, and reflection seminars. In total, 13 nurses participated in this study, the training completion rate increased from 48.9% to 76.5%, and the level of breastfeeding knowledge increased from 87.7 to 91.4 points. These results demonstrate the potential for improving nurses' cognition of nursing concepts and training completion rates.
