摘要

非營利事業財務管理的重點在於做長期投資支持其所提供的服務使命；所謂公益創投(venture philanthropy)，是引用商業創投(venture capital)的觀念，透過公益創投組織對非營利組織進行投資，而能創造社會價值及適當的社會投資報酬率(social return of investment)；公益創投的觀念在於期望每一非營利組織應建立其社會價值，當每一非營利組織的社會投資報酬率大於或等於其加權平均資金成本時，即代表有社會價值；有社會價值的非營利組織即為公益創投基金值得投資的對象。

The focus of financial management for nonprofit organizations should be to measure service performance in terms of social return on investment. Venture philanthropy seeks to obtain greater return from nonprofit organizations, whether social, financial, or both. The social value of nonprofit organization depends on the following rule: the social return on investment in nonprofits is equal to or over its weighted average cost of capital.
