On Lipotropic and growth-promoting Activities of Lysine and Threonine

離氨酸與息寧氨酸對白鼠之生長與肝脂代謝之影響

摘要


1.飼以6%米蛋白飼料之白鼠,其肝中有脂質滞溜現象;體重增加率亦遲緩。倘於該飼料中添加不同量之離氨酸及息寧氨酸後飼之,其體重之增加率較速;且肝中脂質滞溜現象有顯著之減輕。 2.單獨添加離氨酸於飼料中,可促使白鼠體重增加;單獨添加息寧氨酸,可使其肝中脂質含量降低。二者同時添加,彼此間有協同作用,效果更大。 3.離氨酸與息寧氨酸之降低肝脂,主要為使肝中性脂肪含量減低。其機轉可能為增加細胞粒腺體中之脂肪酸氧化作用。此種肝脂降低作用,可因膳食中增加膽固醇而抵消。

Physiol., 18(annex): 69-751962.-When rats were put on a 6% low protein-rice protein-diet, retardationin growth and lipid accumulation in liver occured. The adverse effect could be reverted to favorable by proper supplementation of lysine and threonine to the diet. Under the present experimental conditions, lysine exhibited a growth promoting effect which could be synergized by threonine, while the latter alone failed to stimulate growth. On the other hand, threonine was found to play a more important role in lowering liver lipid level than lysine. The reduction of liver lipid level was mainly due to mobilization of neutral fat fraction. The lipotropic effect of threonine and lysine might result from their enhancement of fatty acid oxidation activityin liver mitochondria. The addition of 1% of exogenous cholesterol to the diet abolished the lipotropic effect exerted by these two amino acids.
