A Facilitative Effect of Pyridoxine on Dark Adaptation

摘要


試驗時施用平流電,故可使那蓋氏暗適應計之光度穩定不變。由靜脈注射50亳克之鹽酸吡咚醇,可使受檢者之感光閾降低,暗適應之能力增強,此增強作用可維持6-8小時。若劑量增加至100毫克,則暗過應之能力更為增強,且可維持約24小時之久。關於視紅之化學反應及暗適應能力之關係,曾加以討論。

Dark adaptation in two healthy male subjects was studied by means of a Nagel's adaptometer. About one hour after intravenous administration of 50 mg of pyridoxine hydrochloride the subjects showed some improvement in rod or peripheral dark adaptation with corresponding lowering of threshold lasting for 6-8 hours. Greater improvement was shown in dark adaptation after 100 mg of pyridoxine, and the effect lasted for about 24 hours. After 1-3 hours of the latter dose of pyridoxine the reduction in final threshold was 0.28-0.34 log micromicrolamberts. The relationship between the chemical reaction of rhodopsin system and the dark adaptability was discussed.
