摘要

利用自動放射顯影法來探求成熟的雌性天竺鼠之內前視區神經元之投射到腦下垂體後葉。不論標示的Proline注射在背側或腹側的內前視區，腦下垂體後葉都可發現到少量的還原性銀顆粒。本研究證明內前視區神經元之纖維直接投射到腦下垂體後葉。

Projections from the medial preoptic area to the posterior lobe of the pituitary gland was investigated in adult female quinea pigs with tritiated praline autoradiography. Whether the tritiated proline was injected into the dorsal or ventral part of the medial preoptic area, the posterior pituitary was always labeled lightly by reduced silver grains. This result demonstrated that the medial preoptic area projected directly to the posterior lobe of the pituitary gland.
