Venous-To-Arterial Compliance Rations in the Canine Systemic and Pulmonary Circulation

體循環及肺循環之靜脈及動脈可容度比值

經麻醉後之狗(10隻),行人工呼吸及開胸。在停止心臟之情況下,體及肺循環分別以同一滾動帮浦之二管道灌注,各循環之靜脈出流可以引流至儲筒之中(開放系統),也可直接抽至帮浦(關閉系統),實驗通常在開放系統中穩定之後轉換成關閉系統。由於帮浦之二管道大小相同,所以在關閉灌注系統下,不論如何變換帮浦之流量,肺循環入流與出流以及體循環入流與出流四者保持相等,因此每一循環之總血量也保持不變。在節節下降血流之同時,動脈壓(體動脈壓及肺動脈灌注壓)下降,而靜脈壓(右心房壓及左心房壓)上升,靜-動脈可容度比值由(-動脈壓變化/靜脈壓變化)而計算。在血流由82下降至41再降至20 ml/min/kg之二節變化中,計算所得之靜-動脈可容度比值在體及肺循環中分別為10及2,但在最後一步減低血流(由20至0 ml/min/kg)之後計算之比值分別增加至17及3。實驗之結果表示靜-動脈可容度比值因動、靜脈內壓力及血量變化之範圍而改變,本實驗的數據也顯示:動脈可容度與靜脈可容度之比較並不如過去報告的那麽低。

In 10 anesthetized dogs with right and left heart bypass, the systemic and pulmonary circulations were perfused with constant and adjustable flow. The venous outflow from each circulation was drawn directly to a roller pump. The systemic and pulmonary perfusion lines were two identical tubings inside the same pump. The inflow and outflow of each circulation were always kept equal despite change in pump flow rate. Therefore, there was no net change in total blood volume in either the greater or lesser circulation. Following stepwise reductions in flow, the arterial pressure(P(subscript A), systemic arterial and pulmonary arterial perfusion pressure)fell and venous pressure(P(subscript V), right and left atrial pressure)rose. The venous-to-arterial compliance ratio(C(subscript V)/C(subscript A))was calculated as(-△P(subscript A)/△P(subscript V)).Over a range of △P(subscript A) and △P(subscript V) after two-step decrease in flow(from 82 to 41 and to 20 ml/min/kg), the values of C(subscript V)/C(subscript A) were approximately 10 and 2 in the systemic and pulmonary circulation, respectively. The corresponding values increased to 17 and 3 upon a final reduction in flow from 20 to 0 ml/min/kg. The data indicate that the figures of C(subscript V)/C(subscript A) vary with the range of pressure and volume alterations in thearterial and venous compartments.The compliance of the arterial system in comparison with the venous compliance was not as low as reported previously.
