Is Temporary Employment a Risk Factor for Work Disability Due to Depressive Disorders and Delayed Return to Work? The Finnish Public Sector Study

This is the first study about the associations of temporary employment with the onset, length, and recurrence of depression-related work disability taking into account socio-demographic factors. Further research is needed to determine whether return-to-work interventions should focus on removing obstacles to employment or improving the availability of care among temporary employees with depressive disorders.
