Traditionally, information behavior study was system‐oriented which focused on how to satisfy users and how to elevate the efficiency of system. And then it became user‐oriented, which includes studies of users' cognition, context, and occupation, it's ranging from individual to environment. In 2015, there were many studies which explored different aspects of workers' information behavior in the symposium of European Network for Workplace Information, which are associated to professionals' information behaviors, and how leaders' personalities and styles influence their information behavior. The author will introduce each of them and make some comparative analysis and discussion.
