本研究主要以實驗操作探討使用多通道薄膜進行聚乙烯醇(PVA)溶液超過濾時,通入氣體及加裝氣體分散器對回收聚乙烯醇之影響。實驗結果顯示當超過濾操作於低液體流速下,氣體之加入可促進其濾速;加裝氣體分散器可增進氣體於溶液中之分散而更進一步促進濾速。在多通道薄膜模組中,氣體能均勻分散於各通道愈形重要。本研究中顯示以通氣超過濾回故聚乙烯醇時, 30μm孔洞之氣體分散器最有助於降低過濾阻力而增加濾速。
Effects of gas introduction and the addition of a gas distributor on ultrafiltration of PYA solution in a multi-channel membrane module were investigated experimentally in this work. Experimental results show that the introduction of gas enhances the permeate flux of ultrafiltration operated at a lower liquid velocity. The addition of a gas distributor can improve the sparging of gas in the liquid stream and further enhance the permeate flux. A well distribution of gas between the channels is important in a multi-channel membrane module. The use of a 30μm pore size gas distributor is effective in reducing the filtration resistance and increasing the penne ate flux of PYA recovery by ultrafiltration.
