Description of two new species of fig wasps (Chalcidoidea: Pteromalidae: Sycoryctinae) associated with Ficus benguetensis

摘要

This study presents two new fig wasp species, Philotrypesis taida Wong and Shiao sp. nov. and Sycorycteridea taipeiensis Wong and Shiao sp. nov., which were reared from Ficus benguetensis Merrill in Taiwan. They are the seventh and first species belonging to the genera Philotrypesis and Sycorycteridea, respectively, to be reported in Taiwan. The holotypes and paratypes were deposited in the Department of Entomology at National Taiwan University, Taiwan.
