Turnip flea beetle is a serious pest of local cabbage, especially in the summer and fall. The control method of this pest is very difficult, because of its wounderful habits and lack of effective insecticides. Fortunately, the dust, wettable powder or emulsion of DDT or BHC applied at the bud appeared imediately and with following 2 or 3 applications of 5 to 7 days intervals was wholely controled. The mimimum effective concentrations and dosages of various forms of DDT or BHC will be continued study in the future.
