摘要
1．在臺北和桃園兩地水田實施矽質鑛滓對水稻之肥效試驗結果，證實矽酸對水稻產量確有良好效果。 2．鑛滓之施用顯然有增強水稻抗稻熱病之功效。 故鑛滓之施用如遇病害發生效果益加顯著。

The field experiments were conducted in Taoyuane and Taipei during 1960-61 in order to test the effect of Silicic slag on the yield of paddy. Some favorable effect of silica was shown in these experiments. The average increment of paddy cansed by the application of slag ranged 9-13%. The effect of slag was enlarged on the occasion when rice blast disease occurred.
