摘要

好勞黃小蜂(Aphytis holoxanthus)爲本省新記錄種，乃褐圓介殼蟲(Chrysomphalus ficus)重要體外寄生蜂(Ectoparasite)。在不施藥防治之柑桔園，往往僅有1、2株柑橘之部份枝葉，發現有褐圓介殼蟲爲害，其餘則極少，此現象似乎由於好勞黃小蜂抑制其繁殖之表現。其寄生率可高達57%。在自然情況下，本省褐圓介殼蟲可以不必施藥防治，俾使寄生蜂得以充分發揮控制之效果。本文介紹好勞黃小蜂在本省之發現與國外利用其防治褐圓介殼蟲之實例。

Aphytis holoxanthus DeBach (Aphelinidae, Hymenoptera) is a first report from Taiwan. It has been found effectively in checking population of Chrysomphalus ficus Ashmead (Diaspidae, Homoptera) on this island. The field observation of its parasitism indicated 57% at Taipei citrus groves. When the density of Chrysomphalus scale was about 7.06 individuals per infested leaf thus no actual damage was observed on citrus trees. Apparently the low damage possibly under economic injury level could be maintained by this parasitoid.
