臺灣新記錄之桃一點葉蟬

摘要

臺灣平地桃樹在春季新葉長成後至秋季落葉前，普遍發生葉蟬嚴重爲害。而爲害桃樹之葉蟬已有記錄者僅小綠葉蟬(Empoasca formosana Paoli)(上標 (3,4))一種。但作者採得在桃樹爲害之葉蟬，通常均以桃一點葉蟬(Erythroneura sudra (Distant))爲主，小綠葉蟬則僅偶然採得一、二隻而己。而桃一點葉蟬分布於印度及我國大陸之浙江、江蘇及安徽諸省(上標 (1,2))。經查有關臺灣葉蟬科(Cicadellidae)之文獻，迄未有桃一點葉蟬之記錄。筆者發現本省平地桃樹受害極爲嚴重，且在臺中谷關(730m）及南投霧社（1,127m，吳國家採得）之桃樹上亦有採得，但爲害並不嚴重。玆就其形態及若干習性簡述之，藉供參考。

The peach leafhopper, Erythroneura sudra (Distant) is one of the important pest on peach tree in the Oriental region. The population of the insect was usually abundant and widerly distributed in lowland than mountain areas of this island. It is the first recorded species from Taiwan. Its nymphs and adults injured the under surface of the new growin leaves in spring through autumn and resulted in precedently deciduous of the peach trees.
