利用葉綠素测計估测筧菜植體葉綠素及氮素狀態

Estimating Chlorophyll and Nitrogen Status in Plants of Amaranthus mangostanus with Chlorophyll Meter

Three field experiments were conducted at Taiwan Agricultural Research Institute Experimental Farm (Wufeng, Taiwan) to evaluate the growth response of Amaranthus man gostanus L., cultivar TNG 67 to different levels of nitrogen fertilizer application during the growing seasons of 2001-2002. Data were collected on leaf total chlorophyll, aboveground nitrogen, and readings of chlorophyll meter from leaves at harvest. Results of regression analyses indicated positive linear correlation between leaf total chlorophyll and readings of chlorophyll meter (R^2=0.637, P<0.0001) and between aboveground nitrogen and leaf total chlorophyll (R^2=0.544, P<0.0001). The relationship between aboveground nitrogen and readings of chlorophyll meter was also linear (R^2=0.581, P<0.0001). Regression models validation by using data from another experiment showed a significant correlation between the estimated and the measured values. It suggests that chlorophyll meter is a suitable tool for the assessment of chlorophyll and nitrogen status in plants of Amaranth mangostanus.
