臺灣近海產扁紅鲹成熟與抱卵數之研究

摘要

1.南方澳水溫較高雄為低，但南方澳扁紅鲹之成熟度反較高雄者為高，這種相反的現象似與扁紅鲹族羣的移動及產卵游等有關
2.扁紅鲹的抱卵數隨著成熟度的不同而有月別的差異，體型較大的魚具有較多的抱卵數。
3.南方澳的扁紅鲹較同月份高雄的扁紅鲹具有較多的抱卵數。
4.南方澳扁紅鲹的相對抱卵數在五月最高，達1552±154／每克體重，高雄扁紅鲹相對抱卵數的高峯則在七月，達1121±110／每克體重。高雄八月標本相對抱卵數已下降，此時可能為扁紅鲹生殖季節的末期。
5.抱卵數與體長之間有正相關的關係，以直線廻歸表示，其斜率隨月份而漸昇。
6.扁紅鲹的生物成熟最小型估計在220mm到240mm之間。
7.由卵徑頻度分布看來，扁紅鲹似乎有分割產卵的情形，但其一次產卵季節中的產卵囘數未能確定。
8.南方澳扁紅鲹第一次產卵的時間約在五月到六月之間，高雄的扁紅鲹未見有產卵的跡象。9.根據透明卵估計得到所檢定的體長範圍內的扁紅鲹其一次產卵數為110727到140171之間。

From January to August 1971, 520 (♂275, ♀ 245) Red Scad, Decapterus kurroides aka-adsi ABE caught from the waters off Nanfangao and Kaohsiung by hand-liners were collected at monthly interval. Maturity of the fish was examined, and the fecundity of femalcs was estimated. Their monthly change and geographical variation were compared and discussed. The results revealed are as follws:
1. Though the water temperature of Nanfangao was lower than that of Kaohsiung, the maturity of the Red Scad caught from Nanfangao was higher than that from Kaohsiung. This lack of conformity between water temperature and maturity of fish may be due to the migration of populations.
2. The fecundity of the Red Scad incerases with its progress in maturity, The larger fish has more eggs than the smaller ones.
3. The Red Scad of Nanfangao was more fecund than that of Kaohsiung.
4. At Nanfangao, the Red Scad was most fecund in May, the relative fecundity was 1552±154 eggs per gram of weight. But at Kaohsiung, the Red Scad was most fecund during July, the relative fecundity was.1l21±110 eggs per gram of weight.
5. The relationship of fecudity and fork length was presented in linear regressions. The slope of the regression lines increased by month.
6. The biological minimum size of the Red Scad is estimated to be from 220 mm to 240 mm.
7. Eggs are released several times in the spawning season, but the number of releases has not been determined.
8. The first spawning of the Red Scad in waters off Nanfangao is in May, when the Red Scad off Kaobsiung shows no signs of spawning.
9. The estimated number of eggs per spawning of the examined fish is from 110,727 to 140,171.
