摘要

本文就形態測定值所用之數據，加以檢討其測定值之平均值及測定誤差，並對標本浸潰於福馬林之影響亦作統計上分析，其結果可分述如下：
1．測定值經重複測定後其測定誤差甚小，平均值之差異在統計上均屬於容許之範圍內。
2．C．V．值之變化依各形質大小之增加而減少。
3．福馬林對扁紅鲹之浸漬無甚影響，可忽略不計。

This study was made to examine the significance of the standard error to the mean (SE) and the coefficient of variations (CV) of the morphometric characters measured. Comparison of the measurements was done for one person and between persons. The results indicated statistical insignificance both from SE and CV, and the larger the dimension of the character itself was, the smaller the SE and CV became. The effect of duration of the formalin fixation was also examined. No significant effect was observed.
