摘要

爲知高雄港重金屬污染之情形，乃分析1974年2月自高雄港內捕獲七種魚類（110個體），四種蟹（129個體），一種蝦（88個體），蝦蛄（40個體），蛤（27個體）之重金屬含量。實驗後發現鎘、汞、鉛及鋅之含量大致正常；但是蟹之含銅量爲18 ppm左右(11.4-26.4 ppm)，較平常高出甚多，鎳之含量亦較基隆港之魚貝類爲高。此可能係高雄港之金屬加工、電鍍、化學等工廠之廢水所致。

The cadmium, copper, lead, mercury, nickel and zinc concentration in the fishes and shellfishes caught in Kaohsiung harbor on Feburary, 1974 were studied. It was found thatcadmium, mercury, lead and zinc concentrations were around ordinary levels. However, the contents of copper and nickel in the fishes and shellfishes were higher than those from other areas. This may indicate that the waters in Kaohsiung harbor were contaminated by copper and nickel discharged from the factories.
