本報告為研究東海及南海產金線紅姑魚之生殖生態,標木魚係在1970年按月採取在東海南部、臺灣海峽及東京灣作業之雙船拖網漁船所獲的金線紅姑魚。由生殖腺判明性別及最初成熟體長,由卵巢之成熟度係數 (方程式略) 及卵徑組成等之月別變化判定產卵期,並由重量法估計孕卵數,結果分述如下: 1.產卵期及產卵盛期: 東海南部之產卵期為三月至九月,產卵盛期為五月。 臺灣海峽之產卵期為二月至八月,產卵盛期為四月。 東京灣之產卵期為一月至五月,產卵盛期為二月至三月。 產卵期有愈往北部愈遲長之現象。 2.最初成熟體長: 東海南部 臺灣海峽 東京灣 18公分 16公分 15公分 有愈往北部者愈慢成熟之現象。 3.性比: 東海南部 臺灣海峽 東京灣 54.42% 50.03% 44.17% 而性比有隨尾叉長之增加而遞減的現象。 4.孕卵數(Y)尾叉長(X.cm)之關係: 東海南部者與臺灣海峽者無顯著差異存在,合併估計為 log Y=1.6661+2.7090 log X,Y=46.3554 X^(2.7090) 東京灣為 log Y=-2.6428+5.6950 log X或Y=2.2762X^(5.6950)•10^(-3)
Samples of Golden Thread. Nemipterus virgatus (Houttuyn), were collected monthly from the catches of bull trawler which operated in the southern area of the East China Sea, the Taiwan Strait and the Gulf Tongking from January to December 1970. From the study of maturity factor (the equation is abbreviated) ova diameter frequency and fecundity, the results are summarized as follows: 1. The spawning season is from March to September in the southern area of the East China Sea, from February to August in the Taiwan Strait and form January to May in the Gulf of Tongking. There is a tendency that the more northern area, the later and longer period of the spawning season. 2. The size at first maturity has been found to be 18, 16, 15cm in the southern area of the East China Sea, Taiwan Strait, and the Gulf of Tongking respectively. Therefore, the fish of the northern area become mature later than that of the southern area. 3. The sex ratio (the equation is abbreviated) is 54.42%, 50.03%. 44.17%, in the corresponding area, and decreases as fork length increases in different fork length groups. 4. The relationship between fecundity (Y) and fork length (X, in cm) for the southern area of the East China Sea and the Taiwan Strait is estimated as follow: Y=46.3554X^(2.7090) But the fecundity of thn fish in the Gulf of Tongking is lower than that of the other two areas, the relationship between fecundity and fork length is: Y=2.2762X^(5.6950)•10^(-3)
