杉葉紫菜絲狀體生長之研究

Culture Studies on the Conchocelis of Porphyra angusta Ueda

培養杉葉紫菜(Porphyra angusta)絲狀體於不同溫度(10,15,20,25和30℃)、光强度(1000, 2000, 3000 4000 lx)及光照時間(8,10,12和14小時)互相組合之80種環境及不同鹽度和pH中的結果,發現絲狀體在10℃至25℃其生長頗佳,尤其生長在20℃,4000 lx,12:(平均值)12者,生長得最好。培養達40天以後,其體積增加了38.4倍,乾重量增加了32.4倍。 又生長在30℃者,除在1000 lux者外則相繼死亡,或生長頗劣。 溫度在15℃,20℃和25℃時絲狀體之生長隨着光强度及光照時間之增加而增快。該種現象在20℃最爲顯著。且在10℃,長光照時間(12,14小時)之下,達到最高生長量所需的最適宜光强度爲2000 lx,而在短光照時間(18,10小時)下,則爲3000 lx。 絲狀體在鹽度35‰生長爲最好,但是在5‰及15‰則相繼死亡。絲狀體生長速率隨着pH之增高而增大,以pH 7.5時生長最好,但pH若再增高則逐漸降低。

The influence of salinity (5, 15, 25, 35, 45‰), pH (5.5, 6.5, 7.5, 8.5, 9.0) and 80 combinations of temperature (10, 15, 20, 25, 30), day length (8:(average)16, 10:(average)14, 12:(average)12, 14:(average)10) and light intensity (1000, 2000, 3000, 4000 lx) on the growth of the conchocelis of Porphyra angusta was examined. After 40 days of cultivation, the maximum increase was 38.4 fold of the original volume and 32.4 times of the original dry weight, which occurred at 20℃ under 4000 lx and 12:12 condition. At 15℃, 20℃ and 25℃ there was a trend showing increased growth with the increase of light intensity and day length, and this phenomenon was very conspicuous at 20℃. At 10℃, maximum growth occurred at 2000 lx for long day (12:(average)12, 14:(average)10) and 3000 lx for short day (8:(average)16, 10:(average)14). At 30℃, with the exception of those growing under 1000 lx, the conchocelis died or did very poorly. At 20℃, 3000 lx, 12:(average)12 condition, the conchocelis responded most favorably to 35‰ and all died at 5‰ and 15‰. The growth increased with the increase of pH and reached its maximum at pH 7.5 then dropped with further increase of pH.
