摘要

著者擬定一系列的研究，企圖對宜蘭灣內的魩鱙魚資源特性進行瞭解，以期做為漁業及海洋生態系管理之依據。本次報告描述漁期、主要魚種及體長之季節變化。本年有兩個漁期，其一為7月至11月的秋季漁期，產量高峯為九月時之月產量125,060公斤；另一漁期為3至6月時的春季漁期，於四月達107,553公斤之高峯。本漁場之漁獲對象有三種輪流形成主要漁獲物；卽春季漁期由日本鮆(Engraulis japonicus)構成，秋季漁期則先由異葉銀带鰶(Encrasicholina heteroloba)為主，再由左氏銀帶鰾(Encrasicholina puntifer)構成。日本鮆的體長範圍在12.7-29.7 mm之間，每羣之平均體長由17.2-23.7 mm不等；左氏銀帶鰶則為11.4-41.7 mm及18.0-22.4 mm組成；異葉銀帶鰶則為11.0-30.3 mm及15.4-18.4 mm所組成。

A series of project focused on the biology of herring-like fish(HELF)resources in the I-Lan Bay was planned to elucidate its characteristics underthe impact of heavy fishing.This report describes the fishing season,majorspecies and size variation of the catches of the HELF fishery in 1991-1992fishing seasons.In 1991-1992,two fishing seasons are distinguished,the first season startedfrom July to November with a peak estimated catch of 125,060 kg in Septemberand the other from late March to June with a peak of 107,553 kg in April.Three herring-like larval fishes alternatively supported the year-roundfishing activities:Engraulis japonicus,Encrasicholina punctifer and Encrasicholinaheteroloba.During the period of the first fishing season,the stocks werecomposed of E.heteroloba and E.punctifer,whereas E.japonicus in the secondseason.The length of E.japonicus was in the range 12.7-29.7 mm,average 17.2-23.7mm;E.punctifer range 11.4-41.7 mm,average 18.0-22.4 mm;E.heteroloba range11.0-30.3 mm,average 15.4-18.4 mm.
