Diurnal Vertical Distribution of Ichthyoplankton in I-Lan Bay,NE Taiwan

摘要


本研究乃調查本省南部核三廠排放口附近海域溫排水之擴散與潮流之關係,自民國79年7月至81年12月共進行了36次現場水溫分佈和潮流觀測。核三廠排放口附近海域潮流之流向大部分時間為西南流,同時其流速亦較其他流向的流速强。當電廠滿載運轉時,溫排水噴射流的距離約為300公尺,超越此距離,其擴散方向和距離主要受潮流流向與流速的影響。當潮流為西南流或西南偏南流時,溫排水往排放口西側沿岸擴散,其範圍僅及全海域之西半部,擴散距離大多超過1,000公尺;當流向往西北、北或東北時,卽潮流阻礙溫排水向外流出,其擴散範圍局限於1,000公尺之範圍內。至於垂直擴散方面,大部份水域之1℃等溫差線均在水深3公尺內,但當水平擴散距離被局限於1,000公尺範圍內時,則於主要擴散方向之狹小水平水域中1℃等溫差線可達水深5公尺左右。

The purpose of this study is to find the relationship between the dispersionof thermal effluent and the various tidal currents in the waters near the outletof the Third Nuclear Power Plant in Taiwan.The thirty six field investigationsof temperature distribution and tidal current were carried out from July 1990to December 1992.The current mostly flows southwestward and its flowing speed is strongerthan that of other current directions.When the plant is at full load operation,the distance of the jet of the discharged thermal effluent is about 300 m fromthe discharge point.Beyond this distance,the dispersion direction and distanceof thermal effluent are primarily affected by the direction and speed of tidalcurrent.When the tidal current flows toward the SW or SW by S direction,thethermal effluent disperses toward the coast of the western side of the outlet.Under this condition,the heated area is only covered with the half-westernpart of the whole waters,and mostly the dispersion of the thermal effluentexceeds the 1,000 m.When the tidal current flows toward the NW,N or NEdirection,the out flowing thermal effluent is hindered by the tidal current,and then the dispersion is limited to an area of 1,000 m.As for the verticalspreading,the ΔT=1°C isothermal line of most of the ambient waters is withinthe depth of 3 m.But when the distance of thermal effluent is limited to anarea of 1,000 m,the ΔT=1°C isothermal line at the narrow ambient waters ofthe central flow direction may reach a depth about 5 m.
