本實驗之目的在探討草蝦最大成長的脂質需求量,以鱈魚肝油/玉米油(2:1)為油脂來源配製七種不同的油脂比例而含等氮、等能量的實驗飼料,油脂含量分別為0、2、4、6、8、10和11.3%;經過六十三天的成長實驗,餵以4%、6%、8%、10%和11.3%脂質含量的處理組,比其它處理組有較顯著高的增重率,而以不添加油脂的處理組增重率最低;各處理組間的存活率為52%~83%,不添加油脂的處理組活存率最低。

This experiment was conducted to evaluate the level of dietary cod liver oil/cornoil(2:1 w/w)mixture needed for maximum weight gain of juvenile tiger prawn,Penaeusmonodon.Seven isoenergetic and isonitrogenous semi-purified diets,with levels rangingfrom 0 to 10% in 2% increments and one diet designed to contain 11.3%,were evaluatedwith juvenile tiger prawn.After 63 days,prawns fed diets containing 4,6,8,10,or11.3% lipid had significantly higher percent weight gain than those fed other diets.Surviwalrate of prawn ranged from 52 to 83% for all treatment groups.A dietary lipid levelranging from 4 to 11.3%,under a narrow range of dietary lipid:carbohydrate ratios,appears to be satisfactory indicating that juvenile tiger prawn do not require a specificlevel of dietary lipid.
