摘要


本研究利用微波加熱化學氣相沉積法成長奈米碳管,比較鐵、鈷、鎳等催化劑對成長奈米碳管之影響。催化劑之選用以鐵之效果爲最佳,對同一種催化劑,隨著催化劑濃度越高,所成長之奈米碳管密度就越高。選用濃度爲2M之硝酸鐵溶液當催化劑,可以得到電流密度約5mA/cm^2、始電壓爲1059V/μm的場發射特性。

The effect of catalysts on carbon nanotube growth by microwave heating CVD is investigated. The catalysts used in this study were various concentrations of iron, cobalt, or nickel nitrates. Among these three catalysts, iron yields the best field-emission quality of carbon nanotube films. Moreover, the density of carbon nanotubes increases with increasing concentration of catalyst. For the film grown with a 2M ferric nitrate as catalyst, a maximum emission current density of 5mA/cm^2 with low turn-on field of ~1.059 V/μm can be achieved.
