過量添加氧化鋯對反應燒結製備鎢酸鋯陶瓷影響之研究

摘要


本研究於反應燒結鎢酸鋯陶瓷時過量添加氧化鋯粉末,使其燒結完成之後為均勻分佈於基質中的第二相,以探討其在反應燒結時的影響以及對調整鎢酸鋯陶瓷之負膨脹係數的可行性。研究結果發現:在過量添加ZrO2之超過10wt%時ZrO2粒子會明顯阻礙反應生成α-ZrW2O8,使其反應速率降低,適當調整熱處理曲線使其配合緻密化速率後卻可提升陶瓷體緻密化的程度,達95%T.D.以上。此外,過量添加氧化鋯確可有效地調整鎢酸鋯陶瓷體的負膨脹係數,且其數值與過量添加量幾呈現一線性關係,在過量添加25wt%的ZrO2之後,陶瓷體的CTE由原先的-10.2×10^(-6)/℃降至約-7.2×10^(-6)/℃。

Excess ZrO2 powder as the second phase to adjust the CTE of ZrW2O8 ceramic by reaction sintering was examined. The second phase ZrO2 grains were dispersed in the matrix and prevented the ZrW2O8 formed, and lowered the reaction rate obvious as the excess amount was greater than 10 wt%. But the density of the ceramic can be elevated to 95% T. D. through adjusting the heating program to make the reaction and sintering rate match. The negative thermal expansion of ZrW2O8 ceramic can be lowed by adding excess ZrO2 powder. The CTE variation and the amount of excess ZrO2 powder show a liner function as the amount less than 25 wt%, which was lowered from -10.2×10^(-6)/℃ to 7.2×10^(-6)/℃.
