殘留氣體對銅線品質之影響

摘要


影響連續鑄軋銅條品質最為深遠的因素:一為溶解於銅水中的氣體含量,一為凝固速度。本文討論熔解及鑄造過程中氣體含量之控制藉理論推算、分析儀器之測定及輔以Oxycell及熱力學之推演出而求得最佳之控制氣體含量模式並經由銅條之品質統計報告及藉掃描式電子顯微鏡之助來推斷下游伸線過程中殘留氣體對銅線機械物理特性之影響,諸如斷線率、伸長率及斷線之起因。

There are two important factors which predominantly affect the quality of copper rod manufactured from continuous casting and rolling process; one is the quantity of dissolved gases in molten copper, the other is the cooling rate in solidification. This paper focuses on the discussion of the control of gases in melting, handling and casting process by means of theoretical calculations, gas analytical instrumentation, together with Oxycell and the thermodynamic derivation for the purpose to find out the optimum parameters for continuous casting line. Through the quality statistic analyisis and the application of scanning electron microscope, the mechanical and physical properties such as ratio and causes of wire-break, elongation as well as other characteristics can be correlated to the residual gases in copper, especially the hydrogen.
