高強度鋁合金冷鍛之可成形性研究

Studies on Formability of High Strength Aluminium Alloys in Cold forging

摘要


金屬材料之可成形性係胚料在成形製程中發生破裂之前所具有之最大成形能力。鍛造之可成形性,包括成形極限以及冶金與機械因素對成形極限之影響。本文以圓柱鍛粗試驗,在室溫下針對2017、2024、7075三種高強度鋁合金在不同熱處理條件下,就胚料達到鍛或形極限而發生之自由表面破裂進行金相組織之觀察,以了解鍛造成形極限受熱處理之影響。經由金相之觀察得知胚料做不同之熱處理後具有不同之金相組織,鍛造後自由表面之裂紋其擴展型式亦不同,並具有不同之成形極限。本文所獲得之冷鍛可鍛造性資料可提供做為鍛模設計與鍛造製程規畫之重要依據,對促進鍛件與鍛材國產化當有裨益。

Forgeability of wrought aluminium alloys can be defined as the maximum strain imposed on a billet without fracture during the forging process. It includes the forming limit and the effects of both metallurgical and mechanical factors on the forming limit. The forming limits of various high strength aluminium alloys, i. e., 2017, 2024 and 7075 with different heat treatment were obtained by using upset test at room temperature. The microstructure of billet near the free surface crack was observed. It shows that various heat treatments result in different microstructures which exhibit different types of crack propagation and affect the forming limit. The forgeability data obtained in this paper provide important information for forging die design and process planning. It will be valuable for promoted the use of locally-produced forging billet and forged product.
