石灰石(CaCO_3)系脫硫劑應用於鐵水脫硫之研究

摘要


理論上CaCO_3於903℃卽行熱分解反應,產生CaO與CO_2,而鐵水在1400℃高溫下,CaCO_3以微細粉末加入後,可以快速的進行熱分解反應,隨卽產生CaO與鐵水進行脫硫反應,因此,石灰石取代石灰應用於鐵水脫硫處理應屬可行。本研究於高週波感應爐中,以浸入式方法加入石灰或石灰石脫硫劑,以探討其脫硫反應現象,結果證實石灰石之脫硫反應優於石灰,如果以石灰石系(70%石灰石)取代石灰系(90%石灰)脫硫劑,在相同的操作條件下,脫硫反應速度常數由0.020/min提高到0.038/min,脫硫率由55%提高到78%,因此,由脫硫劑使用效率及節省成本觀點,此種脫硫劑可以應用於實際之工業生產。此外,本文並探討添加鋁對鐵水脫硫反應之影響,結果顯示添加鋁可以加速脫硫反應,對70%石灰石系脫硫劑而言,其反應速率常數由0.038/min提高到0.050/min。

In this investigation, the desulfurization reaction was studied in a high-frequency induction furnace by immersing lime base flux and limestone base flux in the hot metal. The results revealed that the desulfurization rate of limestone base is higher than that of the lime base during the hot metal treatment. The use of the limestone base flux (70% limestone) instead of the lime base flux ( 90% lime) under the same operation conditions, the desulfurization rate constant can be increased to 0.038/min from 0.020 /min, and the desulfurization efficiency can be increased to 78% from 55%. Because of the advantages of high desulfurization efficiency and low unit cost of limestone base flux, it can be applied to hot metal desulfurization process. In addition, the effect of aluminum addition on the hot metal desulfurization was studied in this paper. The results revealed that the desulfurization rate constant can be increased to 0.050/min from 0.038 /min with alumiunm addition for limestone base flux ( 70% limestone) treatment.
