Investigation of Mine-Induced Microtremor

摘要


台灣地震頻繁,礦坑引發地動之機率頗高,建立礦坑引發地動調查技術,將有助於收集高品質而豐富之地表地動資料,借助於微地動調查分析技術,可以預估地震時對礦坑附近地層之震動影響。本文探討台灣主要礦區地震活動情形,簡介礦坑引發地動之機制,並分析礦坑引發微地動調查之效益。

The high frequency of mine-induced tremors can be expected for regular seismicity in Taiwan. If seismic arrays are designed to monitor mine-induced microtremors, the more qualified records of micro -earthquake activity would be observed and the severity of regional tremors near mines would be analysed. This paper gives an overview of seismicity near mines in Taiwan and summarizes the mechanisms of mine-induced tremors. The potential effects of monitoring mine-induced tremors have also been assessed in the paper.
