The in-situ measuring equipment had been established and the measurements were carried out in the underground stope roofs and the surface of the pillar walls for investigating the deformations and the field stress in the stope roofs and the walls in Liang-Fang underground quarry mines. The equipment used consisted of the convex-type extensometers, the convergence meters, the sonic probe extensometers and the vibrating wire stress meters. The measured data of all stations from all the equipment were collected and analysed, and the results of the stress on pillar and the fractured zone on walls of the measuring points were figured out also. The data of the displacement of the borehole extensometer implies the pillar movement toward the North.
