利用高爐爐石製成無機聚合材料之研究

摘要


高爐爐石為煉鐵所產生,目前主要將其資源化製成爐石水泥,由於品質佳,市場之反應良好。但近一、二年日、韓等國將大量爐石及爐石粉低價傾銷至國內,使得國內高爐水淬爐石資源化受到嚴重影響。高爐水淬爐石不具有毒性,利用為環保再生材料仍有許多發展之空間,並不限於製成水泥原料、及地質改良劑等用途。本研究利用高爐水淬爐石為初始原料,與脫水高嶺土依特定之比例均勻混合後,加入鹼性溶液及不同比例之矽酸鈉充分攪拌,在60°C下固化,形成鋁酸鹽及矽酸鹽之類似沸石架狀聚合結構物,具有耐火絕熱性質,可應用於防火塗料及防火建材。實驗結果顯示,本研究產品比市售矽酸鈣板之耐火絕熱效果更佳且完全不發煙,具有發展潛力。

Blast furnace slag has been used as the active filler to make geopolymer in this research work. It was found that using metakaolinite as the inactive filler, the geopolymer showed the best physical and mechanical properties. For fire resistant tests, a 10 mm thick geopolymer panel was exposed to a 1100 °C flame, the measured backside temperatures was only 180 °C after 35 minutes. The products can be fabricated for construction purposes and have great application potential.
