台灣花蓮地區礦產開發地理資訊系統之建立與應用

Establishment and Application of GIS Database Systems for the Management of Mining Operations in Hwalien Area, Taiwan

摘要


台灣地區花蓮礦區地理資訊資料庫系統之研發設計,乃為經濟部礦物局推動礦業經營管理資訊化與自動化之重要決策之一,本資料庫作業系統,係以GRASS與ARC/INFO等二大國內外常用之GIS系統為主架構,再結合PCI及ERDAS衛星影像處理系統和Visual Basic程式語言之開發作為其資料庫查詢展示之主控制程式,並再與ArcView系統相整合而成為一結構化資料庫系統。其不但具地理資訊系統之各項圖層資料分析處理能力,更具備有資料庫之查詢展示功能,實為一相當完整之結構化資料庫作業系統。本資料庫作業管理系統,具備有各項動態模擬套疊分析功能,共涵括有六大子系統;主題圖製作、資料管理、資料庫查詢、統計分析及支援網路鏈接等六個子系統模組,其規劃設計以使用者圖形界面(GUI)結合圖形視窗為其系統作業環境,具有相當親和性之人機界面,且其各資料圖檔之相容性和擴充性均預留寬廣彈性空間,故可與其他系統作資料之相互轉換與流通共享,此將有利於礦業主管機關作為礦業經營管理自動化工作之推展,更可俾益於礦產資源之合理開發與有效利用。

Development and applications of the Geographic Information Systems (GIS) on the management of mining operations in Hwalien area is a major policy promoted by the Bureau of Mines, in computerizing and automating the management of mining industry. The database systems mainly consist of two widely used GIS software, GRASS and ARC/INFO, and integrate with ERDAS, a satellite image processing software and a data querying program in Visual Basic language. An user interface combining the database as above-mentioned is designed by use of ArcView, a GIS presenting and querying software to accomplish a structured data management system. It, having functions of GIS in analyzing, processing, querying, and presenting data, is a fairly structured database operating system. The database management system of mining environment containing six subsystes: subject mapping, database management, data query, data static analysis, and network support graphic user interface designed for the user guidance and operated under a window environment. The system is left wide open to communicate and interchange with other systems which can be expanded. An open database system is hoped to be accomplished in the near future.
