新竹香山海岸變遷分析研究

The Analysis of Coastal Morphology in Hsiang-shan Area, Hsinchu

新竹香山海岸位於頭前溪出海口南側,在市府「沿海十七公里生態休閒觀光帶」的政策推動下,沿岸景緻煥然一新,成為新的知名觀光休閒基地。然而,新竹海岸近年來受到新竹漁港興建阻擋南向漂砂的影響,海岸產生明顯變化,有關單位曾針對港南地區之侵蝕深入研究並加以防治。本研究藉由蒐集過去相關研究資料及數值模擬計算,探討新竹香山海岸地區之漂砂現象,發現新竹海岸主要受到新竹漁港的影響而產生極大的變化,新竹漁港港口外之淤積仍然出現;港南海濱及新竹漁港南防砂堤不論是在東北或西南季風期均產生較大之輸砂,容易產生侵蝕。香山濕地外跳躍式南向輸砂與離岸輸砂,可能使得等深線往內移,而延續港南之輸砂現象,顯見香山濕地應與港南之侵蝕一起防制。

The Hsiang-shan wetland is the largest in Taiwan, which is loacated 40 km south of Hsinchu harbor. The Hsinchu harbor was built at the south of estuary. The southern coast has eroded since the harbor started building in 1980. Most of the mitigations are focused on the erotion area without considering the existence of wetland. The remote sensing has showed the evidence of sand intrusion which was proved by local fisherman. The aim of this study is to analyze the coastal morphology by using the numerical model and collecting the related literatures. The result shows that the Hsiang-shan wetland would be considered together with the mitigations at the northern coast of wetland, because the sediments are continuously transported along the coast. That is the Hsiang-shan wetland which is still wihin the influence area of Hsinchu harbor, any mitigations would be planned more carefully.
