不同鍍膜作為IF鋼材擴散阻障層之表現

Behavior of Various Coatings as the Diffusion Barrier Layer of IF Steel

摘要


本研究利用濕式及乾式製程分別製備Ti -O、Si -O、Ti -O/Si -O疊層鍍膜及Si濺鍍薄膜,用以觀察不同鍍膜對IF鋼材擴散阻障之效應。表面改質後之結構變化藉由X射線繞射術(X-Ray diffractometry, XRD: Mac Sience M21X, 40kV-300mA)及微光束拉曼光譜術(Raman microspectroscopy, RMS; Renishaw 2000)分析之。掃描式電子顯微術(scanning electron microscopy; SEM: JSM 5600)及能量散佈能譜術(energy dispersive spectroscopy; EDS)則用來觀察及分析表面形貌和局部區域之成份變異。不同鍍膜系統抑制鐵離子擴散能力及近表面層內之成分變化,則利用輝光放電光譜術(glow discharge optical spectrometry, GDOS: LECO GDS-750QDP)及X射線光電子能譜術(X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, XPS: VG Scientific XPSLAB 250)分析之。矽與鐵之擴散係數可以利用Matano-Boltzmann解析法求得。由於濕式旋鍍層為離散島狀分佈,導致其表面覆蓋厚實之氧化鐵(Fe2O3)層,而緻密且抗氧化之濺鍍矽薄膜則不只明顯抑制鐵離子之向外擴散,亦且防止氧離子之向內穿滲。

We produced Ti-O, Si-O, laminate Ti-O/Si-O coatings and Si thin film on IF (interstitial free) steel sheet by adopting sol-gel and sputtering techniques in this study to see the effects of various coatings on the diffusion barrier behavior of IF steel. Microstructural changes after various surface modifications were analyzed by using X-ray diffractometry (XRD: Mac Sience M21X, 40kV-300mA) and Raman spectroscopy, (RMS: Renishaw 2000). Scanning electron microscopy (SEM: JSM 5600) and energy dispersive spectroscopy (EDS) were utilized to inspect surface morphology and local composition fluctuations. The influences of different coating systems on the resistance to the diffusion of ferric ions and compositional variations at the near surface of coated IF steel specimens were evaluated by employing glow discharge optical spectrometry (GDOS: LECO GDS-750QDP) and X-ray Photoelectron Spectroscopy (XPS: VG Scientific XPSLAB 250). The diffusivities of silicon and iron were obtained by utilizing the Matano-Boltzmann method. Spin-coated layers resulting in a discrete island type distribution led to a thick layer of hematite (Fe2O3) covering on the outer surface of the heated specimens. The tenacious sputtered Si thin film on IF steels, however, not only significantly retarded the outward diffusion of ferric ions, but also kept oxygen ions from penetration.
