無機聚合物金屬發泡不同操作條件之探討

Effects of Processing Conditions on the Compression Strength of Geopolymer Metal Foams

摘要


無機聚合材料是一種三維架構鋁矽酸鹽材料。不同於水泥的水合鍵結,其為離子鍵結,其聚合作用是利用富含矽鋁氧化物之礦物粉末於鹼性溶液中產生縮聚反應,形成膠狀物質,再經硬化過程而形成Si-O-Al-O鍵結無機聚合物。由於無機聚合物具有原料取得容易,低耗能,耐高溫,熱膨脹係數小、高早強度,抗酸鹼腐蝕等多項優點,為近年來受矚目的混凝土替代材料。本研究以30%爐石粉取代煅燒高嶺土當作無機聚合物之粉料,並添加改質劑、氫氧化鈉及矽酸鈉等混合溶液充分加以攪拌;另添加Zn粉發泡,製作發泡型無機聚合物並進行抗壓試驗,以探討不同操作條件下金屬發泡對抗壓試驗之影響。研究結果顯示,抗壓強度大小受添加鋅粉的時機所影響,添加0.2%Zn粉與固體粉末充分攪拌均勻後,再溶解於鹼性溶液所得到之抗壓強度(160.76kgf/cm^2)優於固體粉末先與鹼性溶液充分攪拌後,再加入Zn粉發泡之抗壓強度(115.67kgf/cm^2);此外,適當的漿體攪拌時間(40分鐘),可獲得最高抗壓強度(101.91kgf/cm^2),過久的攪拌時間則影響鹼液對煅燒高嶺土中Si、Al的溶出及鍵結反應,導致抗壓強度下降;此外,改質劑添加時機對抗壓強度的影響則不顯著。本研究所製得的發泡型無機聚合材料具有均勻孔洞分佈與適當的抗壓強度值,是一種良好的輕質、隔熱、與隔音材料,可應用於室內隔間牆、天花板的隔音板等應用。

Geopolymer is a class of three-dimensionally networked aluminosilicate materials. Geopolymer has become one of the best raw building materials as it is easily obtainable; it consumes low energy; it endures high temperature; and it has low thermal expansion coefficient, high early strength, and good acid corrosion resistance.In this study, we manufactured a foam-type Geopolymer using Geopolymer materials (30% slag to replace calcined kaolin powder), sodium hydroxide and sodium silicate mixture, and Zn powder. We varied the zinc concentration and additive procedures in the manufacturing processes to determine if any of these variations would affect the compression strength of the products. Results showed that adding 0.2% Zn powder to the kaolin powder; stirring and mixing; and then dissolving in alkaline solution produced the best foamtype Geopolymer having compressive strength of 160.76kgf/cm2. It is better than the product having kaolin powder mixed with the alkaline solution first, then adding Zn powder (compressive strength 115.67kgf/ cm2). In addition, 40 minutes slurry mixing time appeared to be optimum for products with best compressive strength. The foam-type Geopolymer materials produced in this study has a uniform pore distribution and a proper compressive strength. It is a good quality product suitable for interior partition walls, ceilings, and sound insulation board applications.
