不同B2O3與CaF2之CaO基脫硫劑對精煉脫硫能力的影響

Effects of Varying B2O3 and CaF2 Compositions in CaO-based Desulfurization Agent on the Efficacy of Desulfurization Refining

摘要


本研究設計一系列的B2O3與CaF2之CaO基脫硫劑,利用高週波熔煉爐進行精煉脫硫實驗,探討不同含量的B2O3與CaF2之CaO基脫硫劑對精煉脫硫能力之影響。在精煉脫硫實驗過程中會添加FeS來調整鋼液的硫含量,並添加Al條來降低鋼液中的氧分壓,以利後續脫硫反應進行,最後投入不同配方的脫硫劑進行脫硫反應。完成精煉脫硫製程後,取出鋼錠與渣樣分別進行成份的定量分析。實驗結果顯示,在CaO基脫硫劑中,隨著添加B2O3愈多而CaF2愈少時,則脫硫劑的熔點愈低。添加不同比例的B2O3與CaF2於CaO基脫硫劑中,會明顯的影響短時間(15min)熔煉內的脫硫效率,且隨添加B2O3與CaF2比例的增加,其脫硫效率亦隨之增加。但在較長時間(30min)的熔煉過程中,脫硫劑的脫硫效率則不受助熔劑添加量而影響。精煉脫硫能力的好壞跟脫硫劑中F-CaO的含量有關,且成一線性的關係。

In this experimental study, we used CaO-based desulfurization agents with various B2O3 and CaF2 contents to determine the efficacy of desulfurization refining. A high frequency induction melting furnace was used to conduct the refining desulfurization experiments. In the experiments, FeS was added to increase the sulfur content. Then, pure Al was added to decrease the oxygen partial pressure to accelerate desulfurization reaction. The chemical compositions of the refined steel ingots and slags were determined respectively. Results showed that the melting point of CaO-based desulfurization agent decreased as the ratio of B2O3 and CaF2 increased. For short duration experiments (15 min), the ratio of various B2O3 and CaF2 added into the CaO-based desulfurization agent obviously affected the efficacy of desulfurization: as the ratio of B2O3 and CaF2 in CaObased desulfurization agent increased, the efficiency of desulfurization increased. For long duration experiments (30 min), no such improvement was observed. We conclude that the improvement of desulfurization efficacy is proportional to the F-CaO content in CaO-based desulfurization agent.
