新穎白光發光二極體氟硫化物螢光粉之探索

Preparation, Luminescence, and Application of Three Novel Cerium (III)-Activated Fluorosulfide Phosphors for White Light LEDs

摘要


白光發光二極體(WLED)為新世代照明之主流,具有節能與環保雙重特色,而螢光粉在WLED封裝製程中扮演「畫龍點睛」之關鍵角色,本研究著重尚未被國內外專利所涵蓋的新穎LED螢光粉及配方,本論文中我們針對Y2(Ca,Sr)F4S2: Ce^(3+)、α-YFS: Ce^(3+)與β-YFS: Ce^(3+)等三種新穎氟硫化物螢光粉之發光特性進行研究,並分別製作白光LED元件。Y2(Ca,Sr)F4S2: Ce^(3+)可吸收250-400 nm與400-570 nm波長,並發射波長553-590 nm的黃橙光。α-YFS: Ce^(3+)可吸收300-600 nm波長,並發射波長670 nm的飽和紅光。若搭配藍光LED晶片,並結合綠黃光的β-(Y0.95Ce0.05)FS與紅粉CaAlSiN3: Eu^(2+),可封裝成演色係數90、色座標為(0.384, 0.399)、色溫為4,213K之白光LED。本研究證實上述新穎氟硫化物螢光粉具備封裝白光LED之深厚潛力。

Solid-state lighting has become the main stream in illumination industries. This research is attempted to investigate the color quality of white LED with respect to white hue tunability, color temperature, and color rendering, which are critical to the quality of lighting. We formulated three novel phosphors: Y2(Ca,Sr)F4S2: Ce^(3+), α-YFS: Ce^(3+) and β-YFS: Ce^(3+). The Ce^(3+), which exhibit strong absorption in the spectral rage of 250-460 nm and emit yellow-orange, yellowish green, and red colors, respectively. White-light LEDs have been fabricated by properly integrating LED chips, fluorosulfides and complementary phosphors. The white-light LEDs show excellent color qualities.
