預測岩心出砂粒徑可能性分析

Assessing Production Sand Grain Size Distribution from Core Plug Analysis

摘要


本研究現階段透過使用由現有礦區提供之岩心樣品,經由岩心沖排實驗過程中,發現有部分地層岩心樣品出現剝離與出砂現象,可能意指在油氣生產過程具有出砂之疑慮,然出砂可能會造成井壁彎曲甚至塌陷的問題,一旦發生可能造成生產井無法使用或影響到油井生產機制與產能分配問題。根據上述情況本研究進行下列分析,利用井底取出之岩心及其碎屑後,進行基本岩體特性分析、X光繞射儀(XRD)分析礦物成分以及掃描式電子顯微鏡(SEM)辨明表面顆粒堆積情況,藉以估算孔隙率、滲透率、礦物成分與結晶顆粒尺寸,期能瞭解岩心特性、礦物組成及粒徑分佈情況,以利備妥合適之防砂篩管,並依照風險程度預先備好防範措施。

When conducting core flushing experiments, some core plugs showed exfoliation and sand production. This observation implied potential bending or collapsing of production wellbore that restrict well production rate. We aimed to evaluate the potential production sand grain distribution to prevent sand production from the wellbore. We analyzed the basic characteristics of the core plugs and debris, used X-ray diffractometer to identify the mineral composition, and used scanning electron microscopy to identify the packing density of particles. We determined the porosity, permeability, mineral composition, and crystal particles. These data were used to prepare suitable sand screens, develop geological mechanical software for sand control, and develop sand control software and surface sand removal equipment.
